Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane has backed his side to get one over Manchester City when the two face each other this weekend, according to reports.
Kane has sounded a warning to the Citizens before their clash, with the England international adamant that they do not fear anybody following their 1-0 win over Watford this past Saturday.
The match will be a pivotal moment in the race for the title, as a victory for either Spurs or City will see the winner edge themselves closer to shock leaders Leicester City.
The Lilywhites are currently second on the table, which is their highest position at this stage in over three decades, and after manager Mauricio Pochettino compared Kane on the same level as Man City superstar Sergio Aguero, the 22-year-old is adamant they can beat the Sky Blues at the Etihad.
Kane said: “We’ve been serious contenders all season – obviously moving up to second is a good thing, and the higher up we are the better.
“We have some tough away games coming up, but we don’t fear anyone. We’re happy to go up to Manchester City and play our football because we’re excited by the challenge.
“And we know we can beat anyone in the League – and that’s the attitude we have to keep.
“City will want to put things right but we’re on a great run and we’re just looking forward to playing every week.”
Spurs beat City in terrific fashion earlier this season, demolishing them 4-1 at White Hart Lane.
