CHELSEA BLOW AS 19-GOAL FORWARD CONFIRMS ATLETICO MADRID STAY

Chelsea have been dealt a huge blow in their pursuit of Antoine Griezmann after he confirmed his intentions to remain at Atletico Madrid, reports says.
The 24-year-old has been constantly linked with a move to join the Blues over the past few months, with speculation that they were also preparing a summer move for his services.

He was being eyed as a possible replacement to star winger Eden Hazard, who is said to be a top target for Spanish giants Real Madrid as well as Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain.
However, Griezmann has now ruled out any sort of exit in the upcoming summer window, revealing that he wants to remain with Atletico as they are also not looking to let him leave.
“I’m fine here, I’m at ease,” he said.
“I want to continue here and I think the club’s intention is not to sell, so I’m not going.”
The France international has been on great form, already featuring 32 times in all competitions this term, scoring 19 goals while providing another four assists.
