Everton star Phil Jagielka is another Premier League player being
linked with a switch to the Chinese Super League, Express reports.
The 33-year-old centre-back is being eyed for a transfer in the
summer window, but could still make a move this month given that clubs in China
can still sign players until February 26th.
Jagielka has miss out on a number of matches this season
through injury, with summer signing Ramiro Funes Mori slowly adapting to the
defensive role following his arrival from River Plate.
His contract will expire in 2018, but the Toffees could
decide to cash in on his services before he will be allowed to leave for free
in two years time.
The England international is still tipped to feature in the
upcoming Euro 2016 competition, but may leave for a new challenge following the
tournament.
He only managed to register 14 appearances from a possible
25 fixtures so far this term, but is still the current captain for his side.
