Central attacker, Edoh Ocheme has said his mission at Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) side, Enugu Rangers is to win the league shield.
The former Crown FC marksman campaigned for the Tin City side, Giwa FC in the immediate past NPFL season.
Ocheme said he hope to further enrich his career with the strong platform provided by the Flying Antelopes.
“My personal target for the coming season is to win the Nigerian league title with Enugu Rangers.
“I missed the challenge for the highest goal scorer’s award due to injury at Giwa FC as I ended the season on 13 goals.
“However, I believe the switch to Enugu Rangers will greatly help me to achieve the personal goal at the end of the coming season.
“Rangers family treated me like their own upon arrival and it instantly gave me a deep sense of belonging so I have decided to play my heart out for the side.
“I’m certain that a good performance at Enugu Rangers will open a window for national call up as well as suitors from outside the nation’s shores.
“Giwa FC helped my career immensely but did not project me more to earn call up probably because of the size of the club.
“I’m happy at Rangers believing that I will enjoy a flawless and flowering season with the Coal City side,” said the former Ranchers Bees goal poacher to supersport.com.
Ocheme has already hit the ground running with a stunning goal in one of the side test matches.
The power forward will have his first league action in Rangers’ colours against former champions, Kano Pillars in Kano on Sunday, February 21.
